Problems don't just happen!

Most of our problems don't just happen. They are the results of a long series of bad decisions. II Chronicles illustrates this and reminds us that God will not allow His children to continue in sin. Even though He is longsuffering, His patience has a limit. If we don't correct the problem ourselves, we can be sure that He will discipline us.

"Christ's peace is a gift, Jesus gives it to every believer at conversion. I have it, you have it, and anyone who has the Spirit of Christ has it. This is why Paul says in the book of Romans, 'anyone who has the Spirit of Christ is of God...' This is to testify that a man who has the Spirit in him is not affectedly surprissed by the things that goes around him, as if he is caught unaware."
